The Chairman of the Russian State Duma said that almost all factions support a total ban on the sale of e-cigarettes and related e-liquids, and he plans to prepare a proposal to ban the sale of e-cigarettes and strive to complete the review before the end of this session.

According to Duma on January 20, Russian State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin said that almost all factions agree with a total ban on the sale of e-cigarettes.

At the State Duma meeting, Volodin proposed to prepare a cross-factional legislative proposal to ban the sale of e-cigarettes and related e-liquids, and strive to review it before the end of this session.

Currently, the State Duma Health Protection Committee is preparing for the first review of two related bills. Volodin pointed out that considering that almost all factions support a total ban on the sale of e-cigarettes, it is wise to prepare a corresponding cross-factional proposal.
