Philip Morris International: IQOS has made significant progress in Egypt and will introduce e-cigarette and nicotine pouch products

PMI International Vice President said that the success of IQOS in the Egyptian market provides a basis for the introduction of new products, and PMI plans to continue to introduce more new tobacco products such as e-cigarettes and nicotine bags.
According to Dailynewsegypt on January 20, Tommaso Di Giovanni, Vice President of International Communications and Cooperation of Philip Morris International (PMI), said that due to the success of IQOS in Egypt, PMI will introduce more new tobacco products in the Egyptian market.
Egypt currently has about 15 million adult smokers, and IQOS products have made significant progress in the country. PMI plans to use this opportunity to further expand its market share in Egypt.
Giovanni is optimistic about the introduction of smokeless products such as e-cigarettes and nicotine bags into the Egyptian market. He said that IQOS has gained a foothold in Egypt, and its success provides support for the launch of future new products and efforts to "keep Egyptian smokers away from cigarettes."
