According to TVP Info on November 8th, Polish Health Minister Izabela Leszczyna stated in an interview with the media that she hopes the bill to ban the sale of synthetic nicotine bags can be prepared within this year.

The minister admitted on Friday (November 8th) when asked by TVP Info about nicotine bags used by young people, 'This is a problem'.
She explained, "Traditional oral cigarettes contain tobacco. It is prohibited in EU directives and also prohibited in our country. We are talking about nicotine bags containing synthetic nicotine, which have reappeared. In the laws we are developing, they will be banned because they can only be medical products
When asked when the parliament will review the bill, the Minister of Health stated that it largely depends on consultation.
