In response to the popularity of e-cigarettes, South Korea has added dedicated lounges in many places

South Korea's Incheon International Airport and other commercial centers are adding e-cigarette lounges to accommodate the popularity of e-cigarettes.
According to a report by Korea Bizwire on November 26, South Korea is expanding the number of e-cigarette lounges to accommodate the growing popularity of e-cigarettes.
E-cigarette lounges have appeared at Incheon International Airport and major commercial centers. Since June, Incheon Airport has converted three existing smoking areas into e-cigarette lounges and no longer has ashtrays to reduce the odor left by traditional cigarettes. According to the airport, these lounges receive an average of about 4,000 users per day, and user satisfaction is 4.2 out of 5 points according to a September survey.
An airport spokesman said,
"We prioritize lounge accessibility and traffic flow to provide convenience for traditional smokers and e-cigarette smokers."
This trend is not limited to airports. There is also a dedicated e-cigarette area at Lotte World Tower in Songpa District, Seoul, and shopping malls such as Starfield Suwon and Starfield City Wirye also have e-cigarette areas. Gangnam District and Seongdong District have also tried out separate smoking booths for traditional and e-cigarette users.
