The Monthly Sales Volume Of The Philippines' First Nicotine Pouch Brand Has Increased By 23%.

According to Japan Tobacco International, the monthly growth rate of the Philippines' first nicotine pouch brand, "Nordic Spirit", reached 23%. Karin Tan, the director of low-risk products at Japan Tobacco International, recently stated at a briefing held in the Stockholm office of the company in Sweden that the product has maintained strong growth since its launch in May 2023.
Karin Tan cited data from major convenience stores such as 7-Eleven and Uncle John's, saying: "Nicotine pouches do have appeal in the Philippine market. The key is that these products offer consumers a pleasant choice."
Japan Tobacco International recently conducted a survey of 7,000 consumers, and 80% of the respondents said they had a good experience using nicotine pouch products. Filipino consumers stated that nicotine pouches are convenient to use and have a good taste, especially in a country with many smoking bans, where the use experience of nicotine pouches is very convenient.
In this context, the Walgada factory in the western Jotavatam province of Sweden on the west coast of Sweden is accelerating preparations to meet the growing demand for nicotine pouch products. According to the factory's director, Serkan Karasulu, the factory will soon be put into operation and will produce "Nordic Spirit" nicotine pouches for the UK, Canada, France and the Philippines.
