UK Retailer Haypp Launches Petition To Stop Flavoured E-cigarette Ban

UK retailer Haypp launches petition to stop flavoured e-cigarette ban

英国零售商Haypp发起请愿 呼吁阻止调味电子烟禁令

Haypp, an online nicotine retailer in the UK, has launched a petition against the British Medical Association's proposed ban on flavored e-cigarettes, arguing that the problem of teen vaping should be addressed through increased regulation rather than a total ban.

[Two Supreme News] According to Dewsbury Reporter on September 2, Haypp, an online nicotine retailer in the UK, has launched a petition against the latest statement from the British Medical Association (BMA) to stop the ban on flavored e-cigarettes.

The BMA recently called on the UK government to strictly restrict the use of e-cigarettes by adult smokers, including a ban on flavored e-cigarettes.

Haypp called for the focus to shift to bad vendors, believing that these vendors are one of the main reasons for young people to own e-cigarettes.

The petition aims to stop the ban on flavored e-cigarettes that is being considered. Haypp suggested that there needs to be more regulations and restrictions rather than a total ban. They firmly believe that e-cigarettes should continue to be used to help British smokers quit smoking because there is evidence that a ban will be detrimental to the UK's goal of a smoke-free society.

Dr. Marina Murphy, senior director of scientific affairs at Haypp, said,

"We are deeply concerned about youth vaping and the rise in youth use, but we do not believe the solution is to take e-cigarette products away from adult smokers or severely restrict their choices, such as by banning specific flavors."

"E-cigarette products are already prohibited from being sold to those under 18, but this regulation needs to be strictly enforced. Brick-and-mortar stores should require age verification for all customers, and we agree that online sales should only be allowed if they can demonstrate the use of a safe and reliable online age verification system."
