Singapore authorities seized over 37000 illegal electronic cigarettes related to the vape brand 'Vapetape Unplug'

Singapore authorities have seized over 37000 attempted smuggled electronic cigarettes and their e-liquids, involving the e-cigarette brand "Vapetape Unplug". The case has been transferred to the Health Sciences Department for further investigation.
On October 16th, the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) of Singapore announced on its social media Facebook that on August 21st, ICA officials seized an attempt to smuggle a total of 37588 electronic cigarettes and their e-liquids into Singapore at the Tuas checkpoint.
The authorities discovered irregular images while scanning trucks registered in Malaysia and instructed further inspection of the vehicles. During the inspection process, electronic cigarette products hidden in the goods were discovered, and the seized products involved the electronic cigarette brand "Vapetape Unplug".
