Russian police destroyed an illegal e-cigarette oil factory and seized 250,000 bottles of products with a total value of about $2.43 million.
According to Ru News24 on December 9, Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs representative Irina Volk announced that the Krasnodar police in Russia seized a case of illegal production of e-cigarette oil and seized more than 250,000 bottles of finished products with a total value of about 250 million rubles (US$2.43 million).
Preliminary investigations showed that criminal gangs organized illegal production of e-cigarette oil, which was transported to rented warehouses after production and then sold to retail stores. During the operation, the police seized more than 250,000 bottles of finished products, eight production equipment, packaging materials, and 10 tons of various types of oil. The seized items have been sent for inspection. At present, further investigation of the case is still ongoing.
