The Customs in Sofia, Bulgaria Seized A Large Quantity Of Illegal Electronic Cigarettes From China.

According to the BGONAIR news report on August 21st, the "Customs Intelligence and Investigation" department of the Sofia Customs Station discovered 2,800 illegal "vape" type disposable electronic cigarettes during an inspection. Each cigarette contained 15 milliliters of liquid, totaling 42,000 milliliters of tobacco solution.
In a logistics base in Sofia City, the police found these electronic cigarettes. They had no Bulgarian tax tickets and the content of the tobacco solution exceeded the legal limit by several times. These electronic cigarettes were transported from China and disguised as waterproof sprays, with the intention of being sold to a legal entity in Bulgaria.
Based on the preliminary data, the illegal electronic cigarettes contain nicotine. Laboratory tests will determine whether the content matches what is described on the packaging and what other substances are present in the tobacco solution.
Since the beginning of this year, Sofia customs officials have discovered over 50,000 illegal electronic cigarettes.
