Kazakhstan police seized hundreds of illegal e-cigarettes, including "WAKA", "ELFBAR" and other brand products

The police in North Kazakhstan Province of Kazakhstan detained illegal e-cigarette dealers and seized a large number of e-cigarette products sold through Telegram. Some of the seized products involved e-cigarette brands such as "WAKA" and "ELFBAR".
According to Polisia.kz, a team of illegal e-cigarette dealers in North Kazakhstan Province of Kazakhstan was detained by the police.
The provincial police department arrested two suspects in front of a house on Jumabayev Street in Petropavlovsk and seized 26 e-cigarettes from a car belonging to one of the suspects. According to preliminary investigations, these young people sold e-cigarettes through the Telegram platform.
In addition, an 18-year-old resident was suspected of committing a similar crime, and the police seized 154 e-cigarettes from the trunk of his car.
Some of the seized products involved e-cigarette brands such as "WAKA" and "ELFBAR".
The police said that they had filed a case for the illegal sale of smokeless tobacco products, electronic consumer systems (e-cigarettes), flavors and their e-liquids. Under Article 301-1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, suspects may face fines ranging from 200 monthly calculation indicators (MCI) to detention for up to 50 days.
