Japan Tobacco Korea announced the appointment of Irina Lee as its new CEO and plans to launch more new cigarettes and e-cigarettes that meet the needs of adult smokers to strengthen its product portfolio.

According to N. News on December 30, Japan Tobacco Korea (JTI Korea) announced that it will appoint Irina Lee as the company's new CEO on January 1, 2025.

Irina Lee is from Kazakhstan and has held various positions in JTI's various markets, regions and corporate headquarters since 1999.

In 2014, Irina Lee served as the Marketing Director of JTI Kazakhstan, and then moved to the Marketing and Sales Department of JTI headquarters (Geneva), serving as the Director of Marketing and Sales Innovation in 2018 and the Brand Director of "Winston" in 2021. Since 2023, she has served as Vice President of Marketing and Sales, supporting some markets and duty-free businesses in Eastern Europe.

JTI said that Irina Lee's joining will bring new vitality to the company. JTI plans to launch more new cigarettes and e-cigarettes that meet the needs of modern adult smokers to strengthen its product portfolio.

Irina Lee said,
