Has The UK Ban Failed? Some Stores Are Still Openly Selling Disposable Electronic Cigarettes.

Just one day after the British government implemented a nationwide ban on disposable electronic cigarettes, the reporters from London Broadcasting Company conducted an investigation into the implementation of the ban. They discovered that convenience stores in Nottingham were still illegally selling disposable electronic cigarettes, including a professional electronic cigarette store.
During a brief undercover visit to five retail stores in the center of Nottingham by the London Broadcasting Company reporters, they bought the banned disposable electronic cigarettes at all five stores. Even equipment that was considered illegal before the ban was issued was being sold. Among them was a large-capacity electronic cigarette that could be used for 4,000 puffs, far exceeding the legal nicotine content limit before the ban was implemented. This situation has raised serious concerns about the implementation of the disposable electronic cigarette ban and the awareness of retailers.
The new regulations of the British government clearly state that only reusable electronic cigarettes can be legally sold. This type of electronic cigarette includes a rechargeable battery, a refillable oil tank, or a detachable and replaceable vaporization core. Any equipment that does not meet these standards has been classified as illegal equipment.
The reporter said that despite this, several stores in Nottingham were still selling these illegal electronic cigarettes. Further investigation revealed that some store owners seemed not to be aware of the implementation of the disposable electronic cigarette ban, while others openly admitted that they would no longer sell "more" of these products - implying that although they knew the ban existed, they still intended to clear their existing inventory of disposable electronic cigarettes.
