BAT on-site staff told 2Firsts that BAT is optimistic about the German e-cigarette market and will continue to launch cartridge-changing products in Germany in the future, but has no plans to launch large-puff e-cigarettes.

On September 19, the Dortmund Tobacco Exhibition officially opened. 2Firsts communicated with the on-site staff of British American Tobacco (BAT). The staff said that BAT is optimistic about the potential of the German e-cigarette market, but does not consider launching large-puff e-cigarettes in this market.

BAT on-site staff said that no new products were launched specifically for the German market this time. The main product brought this time is the Vuse Go cartridge-changing device launched this year. On the basis of maintaining the classic taste of Vuse Go disposable products, Vuse Go cartridge-changing device has been innovatively upgraded. The new design adds a charging port at the bottom. At the same time, a switch button is added with a child lock function: a single press can be used normally, and pressing twice in a row will lock the device to ensure the safety of children.

Staff members said that the device is sold in bundles with two cartridges, which can last up to 2,000 puffs, making it more environmentally friendly and practical. It meets today's increasingly stringent environmental protection requirements.

Vuse's most popular product in Germany is a disposable product, among which the most popular flavors are grape ice, mixed berries and mint.

When asked whether the British policy would have an impact on the German market, the staff member said: Although the British policy changes may have a certain impact on the e-cigarette market, the German market has its own uniqueness and will not be affected. At the same time, BAT's strategy in Germany will not simply follow the pace of the UK.

In the future, BAT is optimistic about the potential of the German e-cigarette market. When talking about the current mainstream large-puff products such as "n in 1" and "2+10", the staff member said that due to the strict regulatory policies and consumer preferences of the German market, BAT will continue to promote cartridge-changing products that meet market requirements and comply with regulations, and does not intend to launch this type of large-puff e-cigarettes in the German market.
