New Tax On E-liquid For Electronic Cigarettes in The UK And Ireland May Come Into Effect By The End Of The Year

"A typical disposable e-cigarette contains 2 milliliters of e-liquid and costs approximately 8 euros. The new tax measures will raise the price (including VAT) of this product to 9.23 euros."
The long-delayed e-liquid tax "may" be officially implemented by the end of this year. Currently, the relevant preparations have reached a "more mature stage".
The tax content levies a tax of €0.5 per milliliter on all e-liquids. A disposable e-cigarette containing 2 milliliters of e-liquid will have its price raised from approximately €8 to €9.23 (including VAT).
