China Cracks Down Severely On Illegal Production Of Nicotine Pouches

According to the Eastern Tobacco News report:
The Guangzhou Tobacco Monopoly Bureau, in collaboration with local police, has cracked the city's first case of illegal production of new types of tobacco products.
The law enforcement authorities seized a batch of counterfeit oral nicotine products, including finished products and semi-finished products, as well as production equipment and raw materials. The case involved an amount of approximately 400,000 yuan (about 55,000 US dollars), and the two suspects have been detained.
The video released by the authorities shows that these counterfeit products used market brands such as VELO, ZYN and PABLO. VELO is a brand under British American Tobacco, while ZYN belongs to Philip Morris International.
