Starting From July 1st, Kyrgyzstan Has Banned The Import, Sale And Use Of Electronic Cigarettes.

In November 2024, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadir Zaparov signed a law titled "Regulations on Amending Certain Legislation in the Field of Citizens' Health Protection", prohibiting the import, circulation and use of electronic cigarettes.
This law will come into effect on July 1, 2025. After July 1st, those who smoke electronic cigarettes in Kyrgyzstan will be fined 115 US dollars, and electronic cigarette sellers will be fined between 230 and 750 US dollars.
Electronic cigarette importers will be subject to a two-month to one-year labor reform or a maximum fine of 1,390 US dollars. At the same time, importing a large quantity of electronic cigarettes will be fined a maximum of 2,300 US dollars or imprisonment for up to two years.
