"At present, whether it is disposable cigarettes or open cartridge-changing products, the mainstream atomizer core is a cotton mesh core structure."
At the same time, ceramic cores are mainly used in closed cartridge-changing systems. However, the closed cartridge-changing system in the European and American markets has not yet been widely popularized, and the demand for such products is decreasing.
During the exhibition, Fang Houyou shared the latest industry data and future forecasts at the forum. He pointed out that relevant data showed that countries with global sales exceeding US$1 billion in 2023 include the United States (US$5.96 billion), the United Kingdom (US$3.3 billion), Canada (US$2.14 billion) and France (US$1.26 billion). Among them, the global sales of open electronic cigarettes reached US$7.66 billion, accounting for 36.7% of the total sales of electronic cigarettes.
Fang Houyou expressed optimistic expectations for market development in the next five years. He predicted that the global electronic cigarette market will grow fivefold in the next five years, with sales expected to exceed US$100 billion. However, he also emphasized the differences in market prospects for different product types. 2ml cartridge-changing electronic cigarettes will become very popular in the future because they are easy to pass the US PMTA review and have low single-piece consumption costs. In contrast, the market opportunities for large-capacity disposable electronic cigarettes are limited.
