Spanish beaches ban e-cigarettes, violators face fines of up to 2,000 euros

Spanish e-cigarette regulations have changed, and those who smoke on the beach may face a fine of 2,000 euros.

According to a report by Express on May 23, Britons traveling to Spain may face a fine of 1,700 pounds due to changes in Spanish e-cigarette regulations.

Currently, all 28 beaches in Spain, including the Balearic Islands, have banned smoking, including e-cigarettes.

Smoking or the use of e-cigarettes is also prohibited on Barcelona's beaches, and violators may have to pay fines of up to €2,000 (£1,702), according to Markus Lindblad of e-cigarette retailer Haypp.
