On August 2nd, Zhang Jianmin, the Secretary and Director of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration, conducted research on the legalization and regulation of the electronic cigarette industry in Shenzhen. During his visit, Zhang visited some electronic cigarette production enterprises and also had discussions with some electronic cigarette retail clients to learn about the production and regulation situation of electronic cigarettes in Shenzhen.
Zhang fully recognized the achievements of the Shenzhen Tobacco Monopoly Bureau in promoting the legalization and regulation of the electronic cigarette industry. He pointed out that the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee fully implements the requirements of the national party organization, closely combines the actual situation of Shenzhen's electronic cigarette industry, adheres to legal supervision of electronic cigarettes, actively guides electronic cigarette enterprises to operate legally, focuses on regulating electronic cigarette market orders, and promotes comprehensive governance of the electronic cigarette industry in Shenzhen to enter the legal and standardized track.
