Malaysia ANTY EXPO concurrent e-cigarette market compliance seminar: comprehensive analysis from law to taxation

To help companies comply with regulations, SIRIM, MEVTA and the Malaysian Customs will hold seminars during the ANTYEXPO exhibition to explain the relevant policies and certification processes in detail.

According to data from the General Administration of Customs of China, China's e-cigarette exports to Malaysia reached US$385 million in 2023, making Malaysia the sixth largest export market for Chinese e-cigarettes.

However, Malaysia has implemented a series of tax policies and legal regulations on new tobacco products such as e-cigarettes, and all e-cigarette products produced or imported locally must obtain SIRIM certification.

In order to help companies better understand and adapt to the Malaysian market environment, the Malaysian Institute of Standards and Industrial Research (SIRIM), the Malaysian Electronic Vaporizer and Tobacco Substitutes Association (MEVTA), and the Malaysian Customs will hold seminars during the ANTY EXPO exhibition held from September 6 to 8.

As the official cooperative media of the ANTY EXPO exhibition, the two supremes will report this important seminar throughout the process to help exhibitors better understand Malaysia's market access conditions and compliance requirements. Through the cooperation of SIRIM, MEVTA and Malaysian Customs experts, Two Supremes will present the latest market dynamics and compliance strategies to readers, providing strong support for the international development of the e-cigarette industry.
