英国威尔士加强电子烟管控:提出四项主要控制措施
The Public Health Department of Wales, UK, set up a task force and proposed four main control measures to deal with the problem of youth vaping, including banning the sale of attractively flavored e-cigarettes and restricting advertising, packaging and display.

According to a report by walesonline on April 18, the Public Health Department of Wales in the UK has established a task force to address the rapid increase in the number of teenagers using e-cigarettes. The task force recommended banning e-cigarette dealers and manufacturers from selling attractive flavors like bubble gum, as some e-cigarette shops sometimes advertise with eye-catching signage on the way to and from school.

This recommendation is one of four recommendations made by the working group in a report released on Thursday (18th). Its four main control measures are as follows:

1. Anti-norm vaping – Stop vaping in spaces primarily for children and young adults. Environments serving children should have a no-vaping policy.

2. Packaging and Display – Restrictions should be implemented on the advertising, packaging and display of e-cigarettes in Wales. Because it could be "one of the most effective measures to tackle the problem of vaping among children and young people in Wales".

3. Disposable products - The sale of disposable e-cigarettes is prohibited.

4. Flavors - Flavor names should be legally restricted to basic descriptions such as tobacco, mint, mint and fruit.

Chris Emmerson, adviser to the sector, said: "These best practices provide us with a comprehensive framework for young e-cigarette users in Wales. By implementing these practices we can better address the issues facing children and young people The complex needs of people who smoke e-cigarettes. Nicotine replacement therapy, which is already available to people over the age of 12 who smoke, is a tool that may help children and adolescents recover from e-cigarette dependence, when used in conjunction with other support mechanisms."
