The number of banned e-cigarette websites in Italy has increased to 861 and they are ordered to adjust their operations before July 9

The Italian Customs and Monopoly Bureau recently added 8 banned websites, bringing the total to 861, most of which involve illegal sales of tobacco and e-cigarette products. The banned websites need to adjust their content before July 9, following the latest regulations of the Turin Court. E-cigarette products cannot be promoted through promotional activities or promotional materials, but technical features and flavors are allowed.
According to Sigmagazine on June 26, with the recent addition of 8 banned websites by the Italian Customs and Monopoly Bureau (Agenzia delle dogane e monopoli), the number of banned websites has increased to 861.
Most of them are due to illegal sales of tobacco products, but a considerable number of them are online stores selling e-cigarettes and inhalation liquids, as well as display websites of street retailers and manufacturers.
The notified websites need to adjust their operations before July 9 and remove those elements or products on the website that cannot be opened to individuals, including ready-to-use liquids and disposable e-cigarettes.
A recent regulation of the Turin Court requires that e-cigarette products cannot be promoted through commercial promotions, nor can they be promoted in stores using leaflets or posters. However, you may showcase the technical features of a device or the taste of a spice blend, but you may not add subjective comments or phrases designed to attract consumer curiosity or attention.
