The Italian Versilia Tax Police discovered a tobacco warehouse used for illegal online transactions, seized more than 50 million e-cigarettes and other tobacco products, and two Italian managers have been reported.
According to Sigmagazine on September 26, the Italian Versilia Special Police Team discovered a tobacco storage warehouse used for illegal online transactions.
During the operation, the Versilia Tax Police seized more than 50 million e-cigarettes and other tobacco products and reported two people.
In the warehouse, illegal tobacco products were neatly placed on the shelves, including millions of e-cigarettes, their corresponding chargers, filters and paper, all of which lacked legal licenses and authorizations.
Previously, the department noticed a large number of reports about online sales of e-cigarettes and e-cigarette chargers, which took place in the Versilia area. The subsequent investigation identified the initiator of this e-commerce activity, who did not obtain authorization to operate legally.
The two managers engaged in this illegal activity are both Italians and have been reported.
