New Brazilian Airlines regulations: E-cigarettes are allowed on domestic flights

Brazil's National Aviation Administration (Anac) stipulates that e-cigarettes can be carried on domestic flights, but are prohibited from being carried on international flights.
According to Panrotas on July 22, recently, Brazil's National Aviation Administration (Anac) authorized passengers to carry electronic cigarette devices (DEF) on domestic flights in accordance with Article 855/2024 of the Act (RDC) issued by the Brazilian National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa). The Act stipulates that on domestic flights, e-cigarette devices for personal use are not considered imported or transported goods. Therefore, as long as they are for private use, e-cigarette devices can be carried as hand luggage on domestic flights.
In addition, Anvisa restricts passengers from foreign flights from carrying e-cigarette devices into Brazil through luggage. Therefore, e-cigarette devices cannot be transported as hand luggage (including for private use) on international flights to Brazil.
