A county council in the UK conducted surprise inspections of multiple stores and seized 440 electronic cigarettes, involving multiple brands such as ENJOY, WOLF, JNR, with a retail value of £ 14500.

According to a report by BBC on October 29th, multiple shops in Gough, England have been seized with a large number of counterfeit cigarettes and illegal tobacco products.

On October 24th, the Trade Standards Department of East Yorkshire Council, in conjunction with police, conducted surprise inspections of four stores selling illegal tobacco and e-cigarette products.

In this operation, law enforcement officers seized 440 electronic cigarettes, 22500 cigarettes, and over 22 pounds of hand rolled tobacco. The seized products involve multiple brands such as ENJOY, WOLF, JNR, etc. The retail value of these tobacco products reached £ 14500, and in addition, the police conducted additional surprise inspections at venues in Hessle and Hedon.

The county council stated that individuals convicted of selling illegal tobacco may face fines of up to £ 10000 or the risk of imprisonment.
