More than 2,000 illegal e-cigarettes and tobacco were seized in a county in the UK, suspected of having the "HAYATI" logo

West Yorkshire Police in the UK seized about 2,000 to 3,000 illegal e-cigarettes and cigarettes in a raid, and the seized e-cigarette products were suspected to have the "HAYATI" logo.
According to West Yorkshire.Police on September 26, the West Yorkshire Police in the UK seized thousands of illegal e-cigarettes and cigarettes in the latest crackdown.
This week, officers from the Batley and Spen Community Police Team and the West Yorkshire Trading Standards Bureau raided a store in the center of Bilstal Town. After executing a search warrant, the police and officials seized about 2,000 to 3,000 illegal cigarettes and e-cigarettes. The seized e-cigarette products were suspected to have the "HAYATI" logo. Most of these illegal e-cigarettes contain higher nicotine content than normal legal products, and their sales have become an important source of income for organized crime.

This seizure is one of several similar operations so far in 2024, aimed at reducing potential sources of income for organized crime.
Officer Charlotte Nicholls of the Batley and Spence Community Police Team said,
"There is evidence that funds from illegal e-cigarette and tobacco sales are often used to fund organized crime, and these illegal products are more harmful to public health."
