Malaysia Calls On Government To Curb E-liquid Sales

Malaysia calls on government to curb e-liquid sales

Recently, the Malaysian Anti-Substance Abuse Council (Masac) recommended that the government only allow locally-made e-liquids sealed in glass bottles to be sold in the country.

Masac Secretary-General Suhaimi suggested raising the minimum age limit for legal purchase of e-cigarettes from 18 to 21, and minimizing the use of e-liquids that may contain drugs. Malaysian Health Minister Zaliha Mustafa said they will speed up the formulation of a bill to gradually increase the minimum smoking age.
