JTI launches heated tobacco device Ploom X Advanced in Spain
Japan Tobacco International (JTI)'s heated tobacco device Ploom X Advanced has officially entered the Spanish market. The device has been sold at designated sales points in Madrid and the Canary Islands and on the Ploom.es website since April.

Ploom X Advanced has been available since April at designated points of sale in Madrid and the Canary Islands and on the Ploom.es website.
Ploom will expand internationally to 14 countries around the world starting in 2022. In Spain, heated tobacco products account for 2.7% of total tobacco sales, and in large cities like Madrid, this proportion reaches more than 5%.
Guilherme Silva, CEO of Japan Tobacco International (JTI) Spain, said: "Ploom's entry into the Spanish market demonstrates our commitment to innovation and our commitment to providing high-quality tobacco alternatives that satisfy adult smokers. Changing tastes."
It is expected that by the end of 2024, Ploom will cover 80% of the global heated tobacco market. To this end, the group plans to invest more than 1.82 billion euros in commercial expenses, research and development and capital expenditures from 2023 to 2025.
