JTI And Avolta Have Launched The Most Advanced Ploom X Advanced At Milan Malpensa Airport.

The most advanced heating tobacco stick equipment of Japan Tobacco Group, Ploom X Advanced, has collaborated with Avolta and made its debut in Italian tourism retail stores at Milan Malpensa Airport. This launch received strong support from high-profile activations to help increase the foot traffic in the stores, especially when global tourists from Milan Design Week arrive. The product was previously launched in duty-free stores in Japan and Switzerland, offering a variety of device colors, sticks, and accessories for selection.

JTI added that the Ploom X Advanced represents the group's initiative to expand its product portfolio by entering the Risk Reduction Product (RRP) category, in order to meet the needs of adult tobacco consumers and e-cigarette users, while reaffirming its position as one of the most innovative global brands. Our Ploom X Advanced devices have been launched in Italian travel retail stores, along with Camel heated tobacco sticks, available in four flavors and tobacco concentrations (golden, bronze, wine red and cyan)."

JTI stated that Avolta, as one of its long-term retail partners at Milan Malpensa Airport, is capable of optimizing the space for high-end products, providing influential displays, and combined with continuous consumer engagement, "should lead to promising results". The optimal heat distribution and richer flavor is described for Ploom X, which is different from traditional cigarettes as it only heats the tobacco rather than burning it. Then, one can enjoy the tobacco without any smoke or ash. It is designed with HeatFlow technology, ensuring the optimal heat distribution within just a few seconds. JTI pointed out that the harmful substances content of this product has also decreased by 95%, "compared to smoking, as a risk-reducing product it has strong potential". JTI added that, on average, Ploom X can reduce the levels of the nine components recommended by the World Health Organization for reducing cigarette smoke by 90-95%.
