China's Electronic Cigarette Export Data For May Has Been Released: The Export Volume Of Electronic Cigarettes To The United States Has Dropped By Nearly 40%.

On June 20th, the General Administration of Customs of China released the export data of electronic cigarettes (including electronic cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaping devices, as well as other products containing nicotine that are not smoked by burning, the same below) for May 2025.
The data shows that in May this year, China's electronic cigarette export volume was approximately 812,086,742 US dollars (the detailed figure is 812,086,742 dollars), a decrease of 7.38% compared with the previous month, and a significant drop of 19.52% compared to May last year.
In terms of the export destinations, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Malaysia, Japan, Canada, and the Netherlands ranked among the top ten in China's electronic cigarette export volume in May.

Affected by trade disputes and tightened regulatory policies, the US saw a significant 38.91% month-on-month decline in May compared to April. The UK saw a 35.08% month-on-month increase, Germany saw a 1.15% month-on-month decrease, South Korea saw a 22.05% month-on-month decrease, the United Arab Emirates saw a 11.93% month-on-month increase, Russia saw a 111.87% month-on-month increase, Malaysia saw a 2.61% month-on-month decrease, and Japan saw a 38.58% month-on-month increase.
