Law enforcement agencies in Hung Yen Province and Hai Phong City, Vietnam, seized 163,000 smuggled e-cigarette products and 9.9 tons of accessories during a surprise inspection, involving e-cigarette brands FLUM, LOST MARY, GEEK BAR, etc. The warehouse is owned by Trần Xuân Hà, and all items have been temporarily detained for further investigation.
According to Lao Dong on June 11, the General Administration of Market Management of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Vietnam reported on the same day that after a joint inspection, law enforcement agencies in Hung Yen Province and Hai Phong City seized 163,410 smuggled e-cigarette products and 9,913 kilograms of e-cigarette accessories.
The bureau said that the 5th Detachment of the Hung Yen Provincial Market Management Bureau cooperated with the 3rd Detachment and the Economic Police Section (PC03) of the Hung Yen Provincial Public Security Department to conduct a surprise inspection of a warehouse in Lanshan Village, Shanbian Township, Tianlu County, Hung Yen Province. The warehouse is owned by Trần Xuân Hà (born on March 31, 1980, permanent address: No. 1, Suy Hoa District, Bac Ninh City).

Law enforcement agencies in Hung Yen province and Hai Phong city seized 163,410 smuggled e-cigarette products and 9,913 kilograms of e-cigarette accessories.

The products seized in the warehouse include:
62,720 electronic cigarette devices with the label "FLUM PEBBLE 6000";
17,590 electronic cigarette devices with the label "MIOU 18000" and other foreign information;
22,120 electronic cigarette devices with the label "BAR9K" and other foreign information;
34,270 electronic cigarette devices with the label "LOST MARY", made in China and other foreign information;
16,180 electronic cigarette devices with the label "GEEK BAR" and other foreign information;
10,330 electronic cigarette devices with the label "LOST VAPE 7500" and other foreign information;
200 electronic cigarette devices with the label "VAPOR STORM" and other foreign information.
Other e-cigarette accessories include:
E-cigarette essential oils with foreign information on labels and packaging, totaling 286 kg;
E-cigarette accessories (various batteries) with foreign information on labels and packaging, totaling 2,242 kg;
E-cigarette accessories (various plastic parts) with foreign information on labels and packaging, totaling 5,242 kg;
E-cigarette accessories (foam plastics) with foreign information on labels and packaging, totaling 37 kg;
E-cigarette accessories (various packaging materials) with foreign information on labels and packaging, totaling 825 kg;
E-cigarette accessories (circuit boards) with foreign information on labels and packaging, totaling 1,281 kg.
According to preliminary statistics, the investigation team seized a total of 163,410 e-cigarette devices and 9,913 kg of e-cigarette accessories. The owner, Trần Xuân Hà, was unable to provide any invoices, vouchers or relevant documents to prove the source or origin of these products. Preliminary judgment shows that these products all have foreign words on the product labels and packaging, but no attached labels in Vietnamese.
The investigation team said that all of the above products meet the characteristics of smuggled goods. The investigation team has currently temporarily seized and sealed all illegal goods, and will continue to verify and clarify the violations.
