On June 6, the Market Administration Bureau of Xing'an Province, Vietnam and relevant law enforcement departments seized the largest batch of illegal e-cigarettes in history during a surprise inspection, seizing 164,000 illegal e-cigarette products and nearly 10 tons of e-cigarette accessories, involving e-cigarette brands FLUM, LOST MARY, GEEK BAR, etc. Recently, the department carried out centralized destruction of the seized products.
According to Cong Thuong recently reported, the Market Administration Bureau of Xing'an Province, Vietnam unpacked, inspected and destroyed nearly 164,000 e-cigarette products and nearly 10 tons of illegally imported e-cigarette accessories. This is the largest batch of illegally imported e-cigarettes seized so far.
On June 6, 2024, the Fifth Market Management Team of the Xing'an Provincial Market Administration Bureau cooperated with the Third Team of the Economic Crime Investigation Section (PC03) of the Xing'an Provincial Public Security Bureau, the Comprehensive Investigation Team of the Tianlu County Public Security Bureau and the Inspection Team of the General Administration of Customs of Haiphong City to conduct a surprise inspection of a warehouse in Lanshan Village, Shanbian Township, Tianlu County, which was owned by Trần Xuân Hà.

During the inspection, the inspection team found a total of 163,410 electronic cigarette devices and 9,913 kilograms of various electronic cigarette accessories in the warehouse. The seized products included electronic cigarettes of brands such as FLUM, LOST MARY, and GEEK BAR.

The owner, Trần Xuân Hà, was unable to provide any invoices, vouchers or relevant documents to prove the source or origin of these products.
Due to the huge quantity of the goods, law enforcement officers had to mobilize three large trucks and a large number of manpower to transport these items to Vietnam Industrial and Environmental Development Joint Stock Company (Hung Yen Province) for destruction.
