Vaporizor

Vaporizer (vaporizer/ electronic cigarette) is a broad term that generally refers to all electronic devices that convert liquids, herbal plants, or waxes into inhalable vapor through heating. In a broad sense, it is basically synonymous with what we commonly call "electronic cigarette" (E-cigarette).
⚙️ Working Principle and Core Components
Although they may vary in appearance, almost all vaporizers follow the same basic working principle, consisting of the following core components:
Battery: A component that provides energy, usually a rechargeable lithium battery.
Atomizer: The core component, it contains a heating coil. When powered by the battery, the coil heats up.
Liquid storage compartment (Cartridge/Tank): Used for storing e-liquid.
When you inhale, the airflow sensor or button activates the battery, causing current to heat the coil in the atomizer. The heat generated by the coil vaporizes the e-liquid in the reservoir into aerosol (commonly known as "steam"), which you then inhale.
 Main device types
There are numerous types of vaporizers available in the market, which can be broadly classified into the following categories:
Device Type Core Features Common Forms
Disposable Electronic Cigarettes (Disposables) Pre-filled with e-liquid and battery, used once and then discarded, no maintenance required. Shape resembles a highlighter or a USB drive.
Pod System Electronic Cigarettes (Pod Systems) The main body of the device can be reused, simply replace the pre-filled e-pen. Compact and portable, shaped like a USB drive or a pebble.
Vape Pen Electronic Cigarettes (Vape Pens) The device can be reused, add e-liquid yourself, and replace the vaporizer core. Stylized, slightly larger than the pod system.
Mod High-Power Electronic Cigarettes (Mods) Highly customizable, adjustable parameters such as power and temperature, powerful performance. Heavier box-shaped device.
Cigalike Electronic Cigarettes (Cigalikes) Appearance mimics traditional cigarettes. Almost the same as traditional cigarettes.
Two Major Technological Schools
In addition to the above classification by form, vaporizers can also be divided into two major schools based on the heating principle:
Vaporizing Electronic Cigarette (E-liquid Vaporizer): This is currently the most popular type. It generates vapor by heating the liquid nicotine and flavoring components (E-liquid). Representative brands include JUUL and RELX, among others.
Non-burning heated electronic cigarettes (Heat-Not-Burn / HNB): These devices heat the actual tobacco precisely to release nicotine and flavors, but the temperature is not high enough to ignite the tobacco, thus no smoke residue or tar is produced. Representative products include IQOS.
⚠️ Important Note
When learning about vaporizers, it is also necessary to be aware of the associated risks and regulations:
Health Risks:
Not harmless: E-cigarette aerosol is definitely not "water vapor". It contains nicotine (highly addictive), carcinogenic chemicals, heavy metals (such as nickel, tin, and lead), as well as various other harmful substances like ultrafine particles.
Lung damage: Some flavoring agents (such as diacetyl) are associated with severe lung diseases.
Chinese regulations:
Taste restrictions: According to the regulations, the sale of flavored electronic cigarettes other than tobacco flavors is prohibited.
Sales channel: Transactions must be conducted through the unified national electronic cigarette trading management platform.
In simple terms, a vaporizer is a general term for devices that heat liquid to produce vapor for inhalation by humans. The choice of which model to use depends on your preferences for portability, ease of use, and performance.
