Electronic fireworks-style techniques refer to the creation of various shapes of visual art through specific inhalation, exhalation and hand movements. Many of these techniques originated from cigarettes, but electronic cigarettes can produce thicker and more moldable smoke, making them an ideal "canvas" for performing artistic tricks.
Here are some popular tips ranging from beginner to advanced levels, for your reference:
?? Basic Tips: Build a Foundation
These are the building blocks of most fancy techniques. It is recommended to start practicing from them.
Standard Smoke Rings (O-Ring / Smoke Rings): The foundation of almost all techniques. Key points: Make your mouth shape an "O", keep your tongue flat, and then use your throat to exert a brief and gentle force (like a light cough) to expel the smoke. The key is to use the throat for the force, not the mouth.
Ghost Inhale: Also known as "Quick Inhale". First, expel a small, compact cloud of smoke. Then, quickly suck it all back in through your mouth before it disperses. Key points: When exhaling, do it slowly and concentrate. When inhaling back, do it quickly.
French Inhale: Allow the smoke to naturally flow out of the mouth, then inhale through the nose. Key points: Keep the mouth slightly open, use the tongue to push the smoke upwards, and inhale through the nose at the same time.
Tornado: A rotating column of smoke forms on the tabletop. Key points: Slowly blow the smoke onto the smooth tabletop, and use your palm to quickly and skillfully "slice" or "pull" it upwards from the smoke.
Dragon: Exhale smoke from both the sides of your nose and mouth simultaneously. Key points: Take a deep puff of the cigarette and hold it in your mouth, keeping your lips closed in the middle. Then, forcefully exhale from both the nostrils and the sides of your mouth.
Waterfall: Create a visual effect where the smoke flows like liquid. Key points: Slowly release the smoke onto a smooth surface and gently guide its flow with your hand. The effect is better when using high VG smoke oil in an environment without wind.
?? Advanced Techniques: Even More Cool Challenges
After mastering the basics, you can try out these even more impressive combo moves.
Jellyfish: Blow out a second cloud of smoke at the center of the smoke ring, resembling a jellyfish. Key points: First, blow out a thick and dense smoke ring. Then, aim at the center of the smoke ring and gently blow out the remaining smoke with a very fine airflow.
Multiple Smoke Rings (Double/Triple O's): Exhale two or three smoke rings at once. Key points: Use one or more fingers to separate the lips, creating multiple air outlets, and then use the method of puffing out the smoke rings to exert force simultaneously.
Creating a Smoke Ring (Bend O): Use your hands to change the direction of the smoke ring. Key points: After exhaling a stable smoke ring, use your palm or fingers to gently "push" or guide it behind the ring.
??️ Key Points and Tips for Practice
Device Selection: To play the tricks well, the device is crucial. It is recommended to choose a vaping oil with a high VG (vegetable glycerin) ratio (such as 70VG/30PG), which can produce a denser and longer-lasting smoke. At the same time, using a device with adjustable power and intake, along with a low-resistance atomizer, makes it easier to generate a large amount of smoke.
Practice Suggestions:
Practice in front of the mirror, observing and adjusting your mouth shape and movements.
Record your actions with a mobile phone, play them back for analysis and improvement.
Choose an indoor environment with no wind or where the air is still.
Practice for 10 to 15 minutes every day, which is more effective than practicing for a long time at one time.
Don't exert too much force at the beginning. Gently "guiding" the smoke effect will be better.
⚠️ Important Reminder
Health Risks: E-cigarettes are not harmless. The smoke from them contains harmful substances such as nicotine and carcinogens. The tricks should only be used by adult e-cigarette users for entertainment purposes.
Practice moderation: If you feel dizzy or uncomfortable during practice, stop immediately and make sure to rest and hydrate.
