The e-cigarette pen flashes 10 times. The most common reason is that the battery is depleted or the voltage is too low. The device uses this method to remind you that you need to charge it.

 Main reason: Low Voltage Protection
Most e-cigarette pens have a low voltage protection function. When the battery voltage drops below the safety threshold (usually between 3.2V and 3.3V), the device will refuse to work and flash 10 times to prevent the battery from over-discharging and causing permanent damage.

Sometimes even after being used recently, this situation may occur, which is called a voltage drop. When you press the button, the heating coil will instantly lower the voltage. If the battery's charge is already insufficient, the voltage may fall below the threshold, immediately triggering a 10-flash warning.

 How to troubleshoot and solve the problem
You can follow these steps to solve the problem:

Try charging (most common): If your device is rechargeable, please immediately use the original or compatible charger to charge it. Usually, it takes 45-60 minutes to fully charge. Pay attention to observing the indicator light while charging. After it is fully charged, it will usually go off or become constantly lit.

Check the connection (if it is a replaceable cartridge device): If the problem persists after charging, or if you are using a device with a 510 interface, it may be a connection issue. You can try:

Remove the cartridge or vaporizer, and use a cotton swab to dip in a small amount of alcohol to clean the metal contacts between the battery and the vaporizer.

Reattach the cartridge, be careful not to tighten it too much, to avoid damaging the internal connections.

Confirm if it is a one-time device without a charging port: If your device is a one-time device and has no charging port, then 10 flashes mean the battery life is exhausted and a new one is needed.

Check if the protection mechanism was mistakenly triggered: Some devices have a 10-second inhalation timeout protection that will also trigger the light flashing. If you see the flashing after inhaling for 10 seconds, please release the button and let the device rest before using it again.
