A survey of US retailers shows that more than 86% of nicotine pouch users may switch to new ALP brands, which may challenge the current market pattern dominated by the ZYN brand.

On December 5, a survey by Nicokick, an online nicotine retailer in the United States, showed that more than 86% of current US nicotine pouch users said they might switch to the recently launched ALP brand. It is reported that the US nicotine market is currently dominated by the ZYN brand of Philip Morris International (PMI).

The survey was a survey conducted by Nicokick in cooperation with Censuswide, collecting opinions from more than 2,000 adults who use nicotine in various forms.

The ALP brand was launched in November by Tucker Carlson and Turning Point. Carlson called the product "the first nicotine pouch brand for adult consumers who love nicotine."

According to a Nicokick survey, 41.4% of cigarette users and 53.6% of cigar users said they might switch to ALP nicotine pouches. Nearly 55% of e-cigarette users also expressed the same intention.

Marina Murphy, senior director of scientific affairs at Nicokick, said,

"It is obvious that the ALP brand launched by Tucker Carlson will have a significant impact on the nicotine market, not only for current nicotine pouch users, but also for other forms of smoking and tobacco product consumers."
