The US Electronic Cigarette Association praised Trump's nomination of Kennedy Jr. : Electronic cigarette regulation or usher in new changes

The American Electronic Cigarette Technology Association has endorsed Donald Trump's decision to nominate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to be Secretary of Health and Human Services, saying the move demonstrates a commitment to fixing regulatory problems at the FDA and the Center for Tobacco Products (CTP). The head of the VTA said the leadership of Trump and Kennedy would help reduce the harm of smoking and protect small businesses and consumer choice.
Recently, the American Association for Electronic Cigarette Technology (atv) expressed its disapproval of President-elect Donald Trump's nomination of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.Applauded the decision by the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as a demonstration of decisive leadership by the President. The VTA noted that the nomination reflects President Trump's commitment to fixing problems in government, particularly the regulatory process dominated by bureaucracy within the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Center for Tobacco Products (CTP).

Tony Abord, executive director of the VTA, said.
"President Trump promised to save flavored e-cigarettes, while Kennedy promised to make America healthy again by eliminating chronic diseases driven by the industrial system." Thousands of small businesses in the fogging industry, thousands of employees, and millions of Americans who depend on it depend on President Trump, Kennedy, and his team for their freedom of choice and the hope of reducing the harm of smoking."
The VTA is calling on the government to implement a new, streamlined regulatory process, based on science, to ensure widespread access to flavored e-cigarettes to end smoking-related chronic diseases. At the same time, this framework should eliminate bureaucratic conflicts of interest and provide a transparent and sound scientific basis for FDA's regulatory standards. Quick and decisive action could save half a million Americans a year from losing their lives to smoking.

Previously, the VTA said its vaping voters helped the Conservative candidate to victory in the election. During this election campaign, Abboud met with Donald Trump and received a statement at the time thanking Trump for two bold and decisive actions he took in 2019: saving the use of flavored e-cigarettes for adults and protecting youth by raising the age to 21.
After the meeting, Trump said on the social platform Social Truth that he would once again "save e-cigarettes."
"In 2019 I saved flavored e-cigarettes, which greatly helped people quit smoking. I also raised the purchase age to 21 to make it inaccessible to 'kids'. Kamala (Harris and Joe Biden) want to ban everything, causing small businesses across the country to go out of business. I will save e-cigarettes again."
