Supply Chain Exhibition Observation: Electronic cigarette screens are developing rapidly, and display screens have become a new competitive point
At the 5th Atomizer Industry Chain Exhibition, screen technology became a new focus of the e-cigarette industry. Many manufacturers demonstrated technologies such as flexible curved LEDs, although the yield rate in production remains a challenge. As market demand grows, the importance of screen technology in the e-cigarette industry chain will continue to increase.
On August 29, at the 5th Atomizer Industry Chain Exhibition, 2Firsts conducted in-depth interviews with a number of e-cigarette supply chain companies, revealing new trends in the industry. At present, technological competition and supply chain dynamics in the e-cigarette industry have become the focus, especially in screen display technology. 2Firsts exchanged views with a number of display screen suppliers on site on this phenomenon.
At present, new disposable e-cigarettes in the US market are generally equipped with screen display functions, and this technological trend has triggered fierce competition in the industry. At the exhibition, many companies demonstrated their innovations in curved display technology, including flexible curved LED screens, which laid the foundation for the success of their products in the US market.
A representative of a flexible curved LED manufacturer pointed out that since the hot sales of GeekBar Pulse products in the US market, other manufacturers have followed suit and developed similar products, further promoting the demand for flexible screens. Many manufacturers had basically not been involved in the e-cigarette industry before, but reached cooperation with related factories driven by market demand.

Although profit margins still exist, the complexity of the supply chain continues to increase, especially in the production of 3D curved screens, where the yield rate becomes a major challenge. According to him, the actual path of flexible curved materials similar to those used by GeekBar Pulse is not difficult, but it is not easy to meet the standards required by manufacturers. Currently, only 50%-60% of products can pass quality inspection.
In addition, a company focusing on digital lenses said that they provide display screen decorative sheets to many well-known e-cigarette manufacturers such as Kickner and Youweil. It revealed that the order volume of some products has reached 500,000 pieces, and the demand is still growing, which indirectly reflects the market's growing demand for e-cigarette products with screens.

Another company that specializes in display integrated circuit design said that it has started designing and producing circuit boards specifically for disposable electronic cigarettes and other products since this year, mainly for the design of TFT color screens. The person in charge of the booth said that it only provides circuit design solutions, and customers can freely choose the screen and battery. He also pointed out that the current electronic cigarette screen is updated and iterated quickly, and the more expensive and better display LCD screen may become the choice of the next generation of products. The technical reserves of the industrial chain can meet the current product needs.

Although the e-cigarette supply chain faces many challenges such as profit compression, screen technology-related companies are relatively optimistic about this. Disposable e-cigarettes with screens are still developing, and their demand has not shrunk. There is still room for innovative products in the market products that can be developed.
