Kratom vape (Kratom e-cigarette) is an extremely risky substance that can even be fatal. It has been strictly prohibited in China.

It is not a regular e-cigarette but an aerosol product containing the psychoactive substance "Kratom". The main risk lies in a highly concentrated component - 7-hydroxy mitragynine (7-OH).

What is Kratom Vape?

**Vaping form: In recent years, Kratom has been processed into concentrates, extracts, and made into inhalable e-cigarette products**.

Key risk substance: The natural Kratom leaves contain only trace amounts of 7-OH. However, Kratom e-cigarette products on the market often increase the content of 7-OH through artificial synthesis or concentration, reaching over 500% of the content in natural leaves.

Why is it extremely dangerous?
7-OH is a highly potent opioid (Opioid), with a much greater danger than traditional Kratom products.

Effectiveness far exceeds morphine: 7-OH binds to the μ-opioid receptors in the brain, with its potency being 13 times that of morphine. A doctor described it as "completely the same as 80 milligrams of oxycodone (OxyContin, a powerful painkiller)".

High addiction: Physical dependence can form within 2-3 weeks of regular use. The withdrawal reaction is extremely severe, with users describing it as "thousands of times the flu symptoms".

Fatal risk: Overdose can lead to respiratory depression, coma, cardiac arrest, and even death. Its symptoms are exactly the same as those of prescription opioids overdose.

Serious public health data:

The number of calls to the US poison control center regarding Kratom increased by over 1200% from 2015 to 2025.

The number of hospitalizations due to Kratom increased by over 1150% during the same period.

Kratom has also been found to be associated with serious problems such as liver damage and seizures.
