To determine whether an e-cigarette is charging and when it is fully charged, one mainly relies on the indicator lights or screens built into the device. The indication methods for different brands and models are largely similar, and the core rules are as follows.
⚡ Key judgment method: Observe the indicator lights or the screen
The charging status of most electronic cigarettes is indicated by the color and state of the indicator lights. Although the specific colors may vary by brand, the industry generally follows the following rules:
Device status Common indicator light display Explanation and examples
Charging in progress Red light constantly on or red/colored light flashing. The most common state after connecting the power supply, indicating that power is being input.
Charging completed Green light constantly on or light goes out. Being green constantly on is the most clear signal of "fully charged". For some devices, the light will directly go out after being fully charged.
Failed charging Light does not light up or flashes rapidly. Check the charging cable, interface and power supply to ensure they are properly connected. If there is an abnormal rapid flashing, it may indicate charging errors such as abnormal temperature.
Common brand examples:
General rule: The indicator light of most devices is red when charging, and turns green when fully charged.
Yueke (Relx) Fifth Generation: Charging takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes. Once the breathing light on the device is fully charged, it will automatically shut off.
KISS brand products: The indicator light flashes while charging, and turns into a constant light after being fully charged.
Note: If you are using a newer model with a screen, you can directly view the battery percentage or the charging progress bar on the screen.
Charging Time and Safety Instructions
Charging time: Ordinary small cigarettes or disposable electronic cigarettes usually take 1-2 hours to be fully charged. For large-capacity battery boxes, it may take longer. It is recommended to refer to the manual and avoid overcharging (such as charging overnight) to prevent battery damage.
Safety Warning:
Use the original or suitable charger: Avoid using the fast charging adapter for your phone to prevent excessive current.
Do not use while charging: Using while charging will increase the battery load and cause overheating, posing risks.
Place in a safe environment: Charge in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated area, with someone supervising, and keep away from beds and flammable materials.
