EU bans disposable vaping products
Disposable e-cigarettes have achieved great success after they were launched on the EU market in 2022. However, disposable e-cigarettes do not meet the requirements of the EU Battery Regulation. After many discussions, the European Union requires that by the end of 2026, the batteries in e-cigarettes sold on the market must be removable. The e-cigarette industry believes that the cost of setting up a single-use e-cigarette recycling system is too expensive, and they will try to make reusable e-cigarettes more attractive through innovation.
