Electronic cigarette company Max Technology is facing bankruptcy crisis, involving multiple litigation disputes
Max (Shenzhen) Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. recently submitted a bankruptcy liquidation application to the court. The company specializes in electronic cigarette products and owns multiple well-known trademarks, but faces multiple legal lawsuits including sales contract disputes, trademark disputes, etc., involving a total of 15 cases.
On November 4th, 2Firsts received a leak from an electronic cigarette industry insider, who claimed that Max (Shenzhen) Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Max Company") had recently submitted a bankruptcy application to the Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court.

2Firsts learned that Max Company is mainly engaged in the research and sales of electronic cigarette related products. According to Tianyancha, it owns multiple trademarks, including "Yoke", "PQZU", "MKPRO", "MAXECIG", "MCKESSE", and "BADKITTY".

After searching the National Enterprise Bankruptcy Reorganization Case Information Network, 2Firsts sorted out the matter of "applying for bankruptcy":
On September 13, 2024, the People's Court of Bao'an District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province accepted the bankruptcy liquidation application of Max Company, with 34 applicants including Huang Moufeng, a representative of the company's employees. According to the court announcement, 34 applicants have filed for bankruptcy liquidation on the grounds that Max Company's assets are clearly insufficient to pay off all debts.
On October 18, 2024, the People's Court of Bao'an District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province decided to transfer Max Company to bankruptcy liquidation.
On October 23, 2024, the employee delegation voluntarily applied to the court to withdraw the bankruptcy liquidation request, and the court ruled in accordance with the law to allow the withdrawal.
On October 30, 2024, according to the public document (2024) Yue 03 Po Shen 1102 issued by the Intermediate People's Court of Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, Max (Shenzhen) Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. applied for bankruptcy with the Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court as the applicant.
According to Tianyancha, Max Company is facing multiple legal lawsuits, including disputes over sales contracts, unauthorized use of other people's company names, name disputes, etc., involving 15 judicial cases and being listed as a debtor. There are 46 pieces of enterprise risk information, 3 pieces of litigation related relationships, 3 records of dishonest persons subject to enforcement, 4 restrictions on high consumption orders, and a total amount of 7.96 million yuan subject to enforcement.
