There are already cases showing that those convicted of trafficking e-cigarettes containing etomidate have been sentenced to terms ranging from six months to six and a half years.
Drug use: It is an illegal act. The first offense will result in administrative detention. If drug use becomes habitual and occurs multiple times, one will be ordered to undergo community-based drug rehabilitation or compulsory isolation for drug addiction treatment, and a lifelong control record for drug use will be established.
Carry-in: Carrying even just 0.43 grams of electronic cigarettes containing THC into the country would constitute the crime of drug smuggling.

The health risks posed by THC cartridges are extremely serious and can vary greatly:
Severe lung damage: THC cartridges are directly linked to EVALI (E-cigarette Associated Lung Injury). This disease can lead to acute respiratory failure and even death. The culprit is often vitamin E acetate, which is added as a diluent.
Extremely high risk of addiction and poisoning: The concentration of THC cartridges is extremely high (up to 50%-80% or even higher), which can easily lead to dependence. High-dose consumption may result in general anesthesia, respiratory depression, and even death.
Neurological and mental damage: Short-term use can cause hallucinations, mental confusion, and paralysis of the limbs; long-term abuse can cause irreversible damage to the nervous system and even lead to brain atrophy. For teenagers, it can also affect brain development, resulting in learning disabilities and anxiety disorders.
Other unknown risks: Besides THC itself, the e-cigarettes may also contain pollutants such as heavy metals, pesticide residues, and harmful by-products generated during heating.
