According to the company, the SWIC device is used with KETLE cartridges and can be used 14 times per charge. The device is equipped with a vibration feedback function and a screen for displaying the battery level and the remaining amount of cartridges. The SWIC starting set is priced at £14.49, including one device and three boxes of corresponding cartridges (15 cartridges per box, respectively, in gold, red and green). The price of buying a box separately is £3.49, and the price of 20 boxes is £59.8. Each cartridge is disposable.

KETLE cartridges are available in three flavors: gold, red and green. KETLE gold provides a balanced tobacco flavor, with 0.5 mg of nicotine per cartridge. KETLE red provides a strong tobacco flavor, with 0.7 mg of nicotine per cartridge. KETLE green is a blend of tobacco and menthol, and each cartridge also contains 0.7 mg of nicotine.
The SWIC device is manufactured by HelixSweden, a subsidiary of Altria, and uses HeatGrid heating technology. Altria first announced the development of the SWIC device in the spring of 2023, claiming that the device is the first heated tobacco device to use a tobacco-filled cartridge.
Altria claims that consumers consider the SWIC product concept to be novel and unique, and that the device is easier to use than other heated tobacco products such as IQOS.
